Cats and Kittens Available for Adoption

Ava

Ariel

Meet Ava.  Ava is a fluffy three-year old gray tabby whose came into our care when her family could no longer care for her.  Ava would do best as an only cat in a dog free home.  We are still learning more about her.

Tobias2

Adopted!

Tobias

Tobias is 2 years old, neutered and UTD on vaccines.
This perfect gentleman was once clearly in a home but somehow found himself abandoned and alone, depending on the kindness of strangers. One of these amazing strangers asked us if we could help and well, who could say no to that face?
He is still a nervous boy with new people, learning how to trust again but never angry, just shy. A patient quiet adult home is a must.

Patrick

Patrick

Patrick is a sweet young male who came into our care when his family could no longer care for him.  Patrick is playful and gentle.

Grace2

Grace

Grace

Seven-year-old Grace was picked up outdoors.  Grace is playful and very loving.  Sadly, Grace is also deaf but it doesn't stop her from being a loving companion.  That being said, Grace would be best as an only cat in a quiet adult home.

Adopting a Cat From Pals

PALS Animal Life Savers

PALS Animal Life Savers Adoption Philosophy

Our goal is to find appropriate homes for locally rescued cats and kittens. Our Adoption Counselors spend many hours with the cats and are able to help you find the perfect match. They will help suggest a cat based on factors including your home, family, interests and lifestyle. Each situation, adopter, and cat requires a different approach and while we reserve the right to refuse an adoption, we always make every effort to work with you to address concerns or find the most appropriate feline companion.

Adoption Requirements

You must be

  • At least 21-years of age
  • In possession of a valid photo ID
  • Financially able to take care of a feline companion. This includes both routine and emergency veterinary care, food, and litter

Adoption Process

  • Fill in our online adoption application below. This form will provide us with information about you and your household to help facilitate the match-making process, so be specific about the type of cat you are looking for.
  • We will review your application, and verify any required information. Any missing or incorrect information may result in a delay in processing your application.
  • When your application is approved, we will contact you and if we have a cat available that we think would be a good match, we will call you and arrange an appointment time at our Adoption Center.
  • Appointments are held every Saturday from 11:00AM to 3:00PM and every Sunday from 11:00AM to 2PM.
  • Please be on time for your appointment as a courtesy to PALS Adoption Counselors and other potential adopters.

Adoption Application

Make sure you fill out all fields completely. Some key information we require:

  • If you are a renter, you must include your landlord’s full name and phone number; we will verify that you have permission from your landlord to have a cat on his/her property.
  • If you are a homeowner, we will verify via an online database. If we cannot verify online, you will need to provide proof of homeownership (i.e. tax bill, mortgage statement, deed).
  • You must provide your current veterinarian’s contact information, so we can verify your pets’ vaccination history. Please contact your vet in advance to let them know we may be contacting them, or the processing of your application could be delayed. Many vet offices are closed on weekends, and most require client consent before releasing any information.
