Cats and Kittens Available for Adoption
Kay & Serafino
Kay & Serafino
Kay and Serafino are a seriously bonded senior pair that came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. What does seriously bonded mean? We have not seen them NOT snuggling each other outside of meals and litter box time.
They are gentle, quiet, and cautious but friendly. They will let you approach, and after they know you for a few days will happily accept pets. They are a pair that we love and are sad for in particular - in their previous situation, they chose to not leave their windowless room and may not have seen actual sunlight for a few years. They would do best in a quiet home with no children or dogs, but other cats are okay. Kay and Serafino deserve to live out their senior years together with all of the windows and sunny spots - could you be their person?
Lola
Lola
Lola is a gorgeous senior calico that came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. She is a very shy girl, borderline spirit cat (a rarely seen kitty companion), but she has been coming out of her shell with us over time and we think she will thrive in a quiet home, perhaps with a friendly kitty or two to show her that humans are just weird looking besties.
No kids or dogs please, big noises are a little too new and scary for our gentle girl.
Mr. Darcy
Mr. Darcy
Mr. Darcy is a 4 year old gentleman that came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. He’s been in humans-are-okay school and doing great! He gets nervous about being petted, but loves to curiously follow you around.. And inspect what you’re eating. We think he’s going to eventually be a lovey lap cat, but in the meantime he needs a quieter household with folks who don’t mind being patient as he makes his introvert to extrovert journey.
Mr. Darcy is gentle enough for kids, gets along well with all types of cat personalities, but no dogs please.
Coco
Coco
She's about a year old, and was surrendered by her family when they were moving. She is quite petite, gentle, and a snuggly love. She's that perfect age where she still has fun kitten energy, but it's also not the wild and getting-into-everything sort. We found out that she may be too much for other cats, so she's probably be better as an only cat. Small children and dogs may be too much for her. ![]()
Trisha
Trisha
Trisha is a petite young girl (who asks you to not judge how large her profile photo makes her look). She came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation, and while she’s quite curious and playful, she does not yet trust humans to get close enough for pets. She’s very nice about it, and definitely likes people enough to follow them around and inspect what they’re doing. She’ll happily hang out in a room with you, and we think once she spends enough time with her Future Person, she’ll end up being a touch-loving girl.
Trisha says she would enjoy living with other friendly cats that can show her the ropes, but no bossy rude cats please - she’s too tiny and too much of a pushover. She’s gentle enough for young kids, but their noise might be too scary for her. No dogs, please.
Bernard
Bernard
Bernard came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation, and immediately decided that he loves human companionship. He’s picky about how he wants to be pet, and will gently tell you if you’re doing it “incorrectly,” and because of this we think a home with no young kids is best. His perfect day consists of following you around with big rumbly purrs, and sitting next to you wherever you settle in.
And that cute floppy ear? He has a previous history of ear infections, so he likely has this signature flop forever. He might be prone to ear infections in the future, but he’s been happily in the clear for a while now! Bernard is okay with other cats, but will give you the saddest face in the world if you’re petting someone more than him, and we think he’d be his Best Self as a solo guy.
Rain
Rain
Rain is a 2 year old girl who was surrendered to our care. At the moment she is still coming to terms with her new surroundings and we are learning more about her.
Domino
Domino
Oh, Domino! This gentle lady came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. It takes her a minute to warm up to new people, but she’s not mean about it - just nervous! Once she realizes you exist to deliver snacks and pets, she’ll decide that you can be friends and will grant you with purrs and requests for love.
Domino would do well in a quieter house with older kids, and any sort of cats! She humbly requests no dogs, though.
Peter
Peter
Peter is a beautiful long haired man (except better, because he’s a cat) that came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. He isn’t a scared sort of guy, but he definitely doesn’t quite trust humans yet and prefers to hang out on his own. HOWEVER, we can confirm that he is easily bribed with mealtime and catnip sessions.
Because of the aforementioned complicated situation, Peter is one of the cats that has possibly not seen much sunlight in years. He generally prefers the safety of his room, and because of this we recommend a quiet home with no kids or dogs. He does get along with all types of cat personalities though!
Adopting a Cat From Pals
PALS Animal Life Savers Adoption Philosophy
Our goal is to find appropriate homes for locally rescued cats and kittens. Our Adoption Counselors spend many hours with the cats and are able to help you find the perfect match. They will help suggest a cat based on factors including your home, family, interests and lifestyle. Each situation, adopter, and cat requires a different approach and while we reserve the right to refuse an adoption, we always make every effort to work with you to address concerns or find the most appropriate feline companion.
