Check out our volunteers at the Salem Farmers Market on Thursday September 14th.

The Salem Farmers Market is one of our much anticipated community events each year. This year was no exception as we once again rang the opening bell. There is always a diverse crowd and great vendors to shop with.

Happy Cats Featured on our 2016 Thank You Cards

3-Scanned Image 5When the time came to reprint our thank you cards, we asked previous adopters to submit favorite photos of their PALS cats for consideration. The response was so overwhelming we designed TWO new cards, each featuring locally rescued cats happy in their new homes.

5-Scanned Image 4Please click on the images to see larger versions of each card. The first card features, clockwise starting in the top left corner, Delilah; Faolin (formerly Rex), Reo and Niko (Benson); Milly (Jenna); Jackson (Benny); Archie; Archie and Oliver (Jerry and Josh); King; Starbuck and Mobius (Yummy and Ruby); and Zeus (Marley). The second card inlcudes Cosmo and Tuukka (Jethro); Odie (Buffy); Theo (Mr. Foo); Big Mac (Babette) and Mittens (Basil); Charlie (Brady); Nala (Red Patch) and Simba (Mighty Mouse); George Bailey; Ollie; Collette.

If your cat wasn't included, don't worry -- we will try to use them in a future reprint. And, if you have a new photo you think would look great in our marketing materials, please forward a copy to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The Boston Globe GRANT Program: Globe Readers And Non-profits Together

If you're a Boston Globe print or digital subscriber (or know someone who is), you can help PALS Animal Life Savers get free advertising in the Globe through their GRANT (Globe Readers and Non-profits Together) program.

There are two easy ways to help:

1. Visit the Globe GRANT website and enter your email or subscriber number and fill in PALS Animal Life Savers in Salem, MA as your favorite non-profit. We are already on their list, so it should appear in the drop down menu.

2. Look for the silver envelope that says "Grant voucher for your favorite nonprofit enclosed." Pull out the "check" for either $50 or $100. Write PALS Animal Life Savers, 10 Traders Way, Salem, MA 01970. Mail the check back to the Boston Globe using the envelope provided by April 30, 2015.

Why choose PALS?

By designating us as your preferred non-profit, you can help us spread the word about an organization that

  • Assists deserving locally rescued felines
  • Spays/neuters each and every cat and kitten
  • Provides a rewarding volunteer experience

Thank you for considering us!
